MISSION

The Diplomatic Society of Georgia (DSG) brings together career diplomats from different generations who, in adherence to Article 78 of the Constitution of Georgia and democratic values, have either resigned from or been unjustly dismissed from the diplomatic service.

Building on professional expertise and institutional memory, the Society provides analysis of foreign policy developments and seeks to inform the wider public on issues of strategic importance to Georgia. In this regard, it places particular emphasis on countering disinformation and propaganda aimed at discrediting the foreign policy course defined by the Constitution of Georgia and undermining the national consensus upon which it is founded.

The members of the Society firmly believe that European and Euro-Atlantic integration constitute the essential foundation for strengthening Georgia’s sovereignty, safeguarding its territorial integrity, and advancing its democratic development and long-term prosperity.

The Society is guided by a strong sense of civic responsibility and acts in accordance with the national interest, professional integrity, and shared democratic values.

The Society remains open to all diplomats who share its mission, vision, and values.
